Providing Counseling and Training Based on God’s Sufficient Word

Purpose

  • To counsel/teach hurting people how to approach circumstances, relationships, and situations of life from a biblical perspective and to experience victory and contentment in all of life ’s trials, testing, and problems..
  • To train and equip other believers to do the same within the body of Christ.

Goal

  • Our goal is to help you meet the challenges of life in a way that pleases and honors the Lord Jesus Christ and allows you to fully enjoy Him and His plans for your life.

What makes Counseling "Biblical"?

  • Dependence on the promises and authority of God contained in His word, which offers the basis for vital and abundant living.
  • A deep commitment to growth in your personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and development of Biblical habits that are pleasing to Him.
  • Constant application of Biblical Principles and full reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit for sancitification and lasting change.

What is a "Biblical" Counselor?

A biblical counselor is a committed maturing believer who is trained to apply biblical principles to successful deal with problems of everyday living.  He/She is committed to the position that the Word of God is the only authoritative standard for faith and conduct.  He/She does not base counseling knowledge on human assumptions, opinions, experience, or other concepts of behavior.  Rather, he/she uses the full range of biblical principles and precepts to help counselees deal with their problems in a biblical manner, and to help them center their lives around the Person of Jesus Christ.
