Alison’s Pure White Icing
Whisk until dissolved:
7/8 C Hot Water
4 Tb meringue powder* (optional)
4 C Powdered Sugar
Add: 1 ½ C Shortening
¾ tsp butter flavoring
¾ tsp white vanilla
When all mixed smooth add: 8 C powdered sugar.
Mix until fluffy. 2 or 3 minutes
